SHINE - Express Yourself
Not everybody expresses themselves the same way, and they shouldn't have to.
SHINE creates opportunities to explore music, dance, drama, theater, performance, and creative expression in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to each person.
Maybe you love being on stage. Maybe the thought of being on stage makes you want to run in the opposite direction. 😂 That's okay too.
Performing arts need singers, actors, dancers, musicians, storytellers, writers, costume creators, set builders, tech helpers, organizers, and people behind the scenes making everything happen.
There is more than one way to SHINE.
SHINE may include music, singing, instruments, dancing, drama, skits, theater, talent sharing, performances, costumes, set creation, backstage opportunities, and participant-created productions.
Participation should be about expression and enjoyment—not pressure to perform.
Whether you want the spotlight or would much rather help make the spotlight work, there can be a place for you here.
