Not every interest fits neatly into a program—and we don't think it should have to.
Discovery is where THRIVE gets curious.
It's a flexible space for interest-led workshops, hobbies, learning opportunities, skill building, and those random “I've always wanted to try that!” ideas that don't necessarily belong anywhere else.
Maybe that's gardening. Technology. Games. Animals. Landscaping. Computers. Money skills. A particular hobby. Something practical you want to learn. Something completely impractical that you simply think would be fun.
If people are interested, we want to explore what's possible.
Discovery opportunities may include guest-led workshops, participant-led activities, hobbies, technology, gardening, community learning, practical skills, demonstrations, special-interest groups, and opportunities we haven't even imagined yet.
And this is especially important:
Discovery should grow from the interests of the people participating in THRIVE—not from us deciding what everybody ought to learn.
Participants, families, guardians, community members, and local organizations may also help us discover people with knowledge, talents, hobbies, or experiences they'd love to share.
Discovery is currently being developed. New workshops and opportunities will be added based on participant interests, available partners, and community opportunities.
