Everybody has something to say. Sometimes we just need the right way—and the right place—to say it.
Creative Voices gives participants opportunities to express themselves through writing, storytelling, poetry, comics, illustration, creative projects, and other forms of communication and self-expression.
You might want to write a story. Create a comic. Write poetry. Illustrate something. Tell a true story from your life. Invent an entirely new world. Or work with someone else to help get an idea out of your head and onto the page.
There isn't one “right” way to have a creative voice.
Your voice is yours.
Creative Voices may include stories, poetry, comics, artwork and illustration, collaborative writing, participant publications, writing groups, creative challenges, and opportunities to share work when participants choose to.
As the program grows, we also hope to explore ways to collect and celebrate participant-created work through THRIVE publications and projects.
Sharing is always a choice. Creating something does not mean you have to perform it or show it to anyone.
Creative Voices is currently being developed. Opportunities and projects will continue to grow with participant interest.
